Adjunct Faculty Orientation (Zoom Recording) Spring 2023
If you are a new hire here at Delta, please read the faculty handbook so you may begin your semester successfully. Included, you will find a list of suggested procedures under the chapter titled: "You're Hired -Now What?" If you are a returning faculty member, I would equally encourage you to browse through this PDF as it includes a wealth of information including campus policies, contact information for various departments, and services available to you as an adjunct. The Faculty Handbook can be found on the Instruction and Planning page under Instructional Resources
All new faculty hires at Delta College should be in compliance with up to date emergency procedures. As part of the faculty at SJDC, you should be familiar with how to prepare and proceed in the case of an emergency. The tests you should be taking are as follows: ICS 100, ICS 700, G 606. When you are finished taking these courses, please send copies of your completed certificates to Jackie Layman in HR. Please visit the HR or Campus Police pages for information on how to complete the tests.
