Directing Adults on the Right TrAC for Employment (DARTE)
The DARTE learning community is the perfect opportunity to direct students onto a career path and provide a jump start into college. DARTE is a small cohort model designed for the working adult. Students can earn high school diploma credits and college units at the same time. Join DARTE to learn about yourself, career options and develop lifelong skills. Complete transfer level math and English classes while finishing High School Diploma/ High School Equivalency (HSD/HSE). All DARTE courses do not require books to be purchased and use open education resources (OERs). Students can dual enroll at the adult schools and Delta College through SB554. During the student journey, you will be working with a dedicated counselor and teachers through the DARTE learning community. Whether you are wanting to complete a certificate, degree, or transfer to a four-year college, we are here to support you through your journey from the adult school onto Delta College and beyond. To enroll into this learning community, please contact Dr. Heather Maloy at heather.maloy@deltacollege.edu.
