Recruitment Process
Early College Pathways (ECP) is a partnership between San Joaquin Delta College, participating high schools and middle school districts. Through ECP, participating students earn college credits in a cohort style learning environment. Program participation leads to completion of a two-year associate degree and the completion of lower division general education for the University of California and California State University systems. In short, ECP allows students an early start in earning college units, gaining college readiness skills, and saving their families time to graduation and money!
Recruitment Process: The ECP program reaches out to school districts beginning with the middle schools. Districts work with our representatives to start the recruitment process via web based virtual information sessions and email recruitment campaigns. The target population is 8th grade students interested in gaining college units for competitive college admissions. Once identified, we work with your students to get them ready to start taking college courses at Delta in the fall of their freshmen high school year. We provide wrap around counseling and support services to help them succeed. We also coordinate information with your high school counselors to help our mutual ECP students get the most out of our program.
Interested high school districts may contact us by calling our ECP Coordinator at 209.833.7900 or emailing us at mhcampus@deltacollege.edu. We look forward to partnering with you in the near future.
