How to Use the Student Food Pantry
Bring your current Class Schedule & Form of Identification each time you visit the Food Pantry
Students will be able to use a total of 100 points each semester and up to 16 points each week for various food or toiletries items in the Student Food Pantry
Students who bring a reusable bag each visit will receive an extra 5 points
Each item is marked as a point value.
Before Your First Visit
The Food Pantry is available to all currently enrolled Delta College students who have completed the online Food Pantry application. Your application gives you access to the Food Pantry for the entire year!

The Student Food Pantry relies heavily on volunteers to assist with serving students in need. Volunteer duties include greeting students, assisting students with completing their online application, tracking points and food inventory, keeping shelves neat and organized and maintaining and cleaning the space. We are looking for friendly and outgoing student leaders who have a commitment to serving the Delta college campus community. Must be a currently enrolled student at Delta College to volunteer with the Student Food Pantry. Select a calendar date and sign-up.

About The Student Food Pantry
The Student Food Pantry contributes to the overall health and wellness of the Delta College student body by providing free access to healthy food options students can use to create balanced meals for themselves and their families.
Ensure no student goes hungry because of a lack of income or access to food.

Want to make a donation? Financial donations can be sent to the Cashier’s Office in the Horton Administration Building. Please make checks payable to SJDC Student Food Pantry. We also accept donations of nonperishable food (see list below.) Items can be dropped off at the Office of Student Activities in Shima 101C. Please call 209-954-5100 to schedule time to drop off items.

On March 15, 2019, The Student Food Pantry opened its doors to ensure that no student will go hungry because of a lack of income or a lack of access to food.
