The annual Student Art Exhibition highlights the work of students and faculty over the past academic year. Studio Arts courses include drawing, painting, 2D color & design, ceramics, sculpture, 3D design, printmaking, and Media Arts - graphic arts and photography (analogue and digital). This year was especially challenging as the students and faculty navigated learning and teaching a hands-on discipline in a virtual world. We are very proud of our students for continuing their education through these difficult times.
The online Student Art Exhibition is a virtual version of the annual juried exhibition, and is open to all students taking courses at Delta College. Although we’re still operating virtually, we are thrilled to be able to present our annual art exhibition online along with our awards ceremony this year to those students taking studio and media arts courses.
This year’s exhibition juror is Marty Azevedo, Professor of Art & Printmaking at Stanislaus State University, Turlock, CA. Marty received his BA in Art from California State University, Chico, and his MFA at The Ohio State University. Marty’s artwork may be seen at his website: http://marty-azevedo.com
