Calculator Rental/Return Information

Renting a Calculator

Calculators are available for students to rent free of charge if they are currently enrolled in a Delta College math, or science course that requires use of a calculator.  Both graphing calculators, and scientific calculators are available for rent. 

  • Students can visit the Science and Math learning center, located in SCAM 162, at anytime during the center operational hours to complete the calculator rental process. 
  • Upon arrival, students will need to present a completed calculator rental agreement form to the staff in the Math and Science Learning Center
  • Students will be assigned a calculator with a specific ID number and will be responsible for keeping it in good working condition and returning it at the semester’s end. 
  • The math and science learning center does not provide batteries for calculator rentals – securing batteries is the responsibility of the student. 

Returning a Calculator

  • Students are required to return their calculator within 1 week of their final exam
  • Students are welcome to return the calculator during the Math and Science Learning centers operating hours OR
  • Students may return calculators to the drop box located on the north side of the library (located directly across from the bookstore).  
    • If students choose to drop off their calculator at the drop box, they must enclose a note inside in the calculator cover that includes their first and last name, and Delta ID number.
