Wifi. Free WiFi is now available on campus, if your device can detect the DeltaStudentWIFI2 ID and then you should be able to connect to it.

Hot Spots: A limited number of hot spot devices are available for loan. If you are currently enrolling in classes for the semester, and think you would benefit from having a hot spot, please make a request at https://www.deltacollege.edu/tech-loan-referral-request-form


Additional Affordable Internet at Home for Eligible Households

AT&T Access https://www.att.com/internet/access/ is a low-cost internet option. AT&T offers low-cost wireline home Internet service to qualifying households: With at least one resident who participates in the U.S. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)/Food Stamps.Fees: $5 to $10 a month. AT&T Access offers high-speed internet for qualifying households. There are no contracts, no deposit and no installation fee. Also includes in-home Wi-Fi gateway and access to the entire national AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spot network at no extra cost. Please visit the website or call to apply.

California Connects Mobile Internet includes a mobile hotspot that lets college students stay connected to the Internet. The new mobile hotspot service, powered by Sprint, offers nationwide 4G LTE connectivity and allows users to connect up to 10 wifi enabled devices for up to 10 hours on a single charge. Users pay $19.99 for every month thereafter with no throttling, suspension, or overage charges. Comcast Internet Essentials for $9.99 / mo. - Internet Essentials will increase speeds from 15/2 Mbps to 25/3 for all customers in response to emergency measures associated with Coronavirus (COVID-19). This speed increase will happen automatically - no action is required by customers. Customers also receive 2 months for free. https://www.internetessentials.com/


Laptops 

Delta College students can borrow a laptop for free through our Student Equipment Loan Program. You can request a laptop by using the following form: https://www.deltacollege.edu/tech-loan-referral-request-form. To qualify, you must be enrolled in credit courses for the current semester and you must have returned any prior technology loan equipment that you borrowed. Remember: Devices Loaned must be returned at the end of EACH semester.
