“My sleep Paralysis” was created around Halloween as a part of a story telling piece called “What’s Lingering in my Darkness”. I found it easy to bring my fears alive through imagery to show a larger audience what I fear when the lights are turned off. In order to create this piece, I had to envision my fears surrounding me. “My Sleep Paralysis” came from a feeling of being watched by a lingering entity while in the state of vulnerability. The entity needs to feed off the soul of a living person causing them to become sluggish and drained as time continues on.
