Take your college experience to new heights.
L.E.A.D is a leadership development program designed to recruit, select, and train student representatives to serve on shared governance committees.
Being a student representative is a big responsibility; it requires time, commitment, and consistent follow through. Some expectations include but are not limited to: attending all assigned committee meetings, mandatory trainings and meetings; submitting reports to the ASDC; and representing the interests of the student body and the ASDC on all college matters.
Candidates will be selected by a committee of ASDC officers and the Director of Student Activities. Recommendations from the committee will be forwarded to the ASDC for final approval.
- Students interested in participating in the L.E.A.D program must be enrolled in a minimum of five-semester units and have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
- Students must be in good standing with the college. Students on academic or progress probation and/or disciplinary probation at the time of application, DO NOT qualify to apply for the L.E.A.D program.
