L.E.A.D Program

Take your college experience to new heights.

L.E.A.D is a leadership development program designed to recruit, select, and train student representatives to serve on shared governance committees.

Representative Responsibilities

Being a student representative is a big responsibility; it requires time, commitment, and consistent follow through. Some expectations include but are not limited to: attending all assigned committee meetings, mandatory trainings and meetings; submitting reports to the ASDC; and representing the interests of the student body and the ASDC on all college matters.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected by a committee of ASDC officers and the Director of Student Activities. Recommendations from the committee will be forwarded to the ASDC for final approval.

  1. Students interested in participating in the L.E.A.D program must be enrolled in a minimum of five-semester units and have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
  2. Students must be in good standing with the college. Students on academic or progress probation and/or disciplinary probation at the time of application, DO NOT qualify to apply for the L.E.A.D program.
