Artwork Selection Deadline

Selected artists will be required to submit current and/or to produce new original work based on the Exhibition Statement theme, artwork inspired by poetry, for the December 9 Artwork Selection Deadline. Accepted Artwork will be received at the Gallery by appointment January 6 – 9, 2025.

Exhibiting Artists Stipend: $100 per accepted artwork, capped at $300 for up to 5 selected artworks.

Free Online Entry

Submit digital images of artwork for the Visual Poetry Exhibition artwork selection process by the December 9 Deadline and according to the Prospectus Guidelines (see download) and Submission Requirements below.

Submission Requirements:

• Submit 1 to 5 artwork images related to the Visual Poetry Exhibition theme.
• Include dimensions, medium and add notes with full materials list for each artwork entered. (Note there is a multiple image slide for 3D works to show alternate views).
• Submit Artist Statement with the following information in one document:

1. Name
2. Artist Website link and/or Social Media web links
3. General Artist Statement and Bio (100-400 words)
4. Artwork title, Materials, Dimensions, Year Produced, Sale Price
5. Work Statement for each artwork, and include an excerpt from the poem/words that inspired artwork (100 – 600 words and include title and author of written word)
