Artist Statement: 

This was the first painting class I’ve ever taken. Before this, I had never drawn anything more than a stick figure. This class has been challenging, but I have loved every part. I’ve enjoyed mixing the colors, shading, and highlighting. Painting has helped calm my mind, and I hope to continue exploring painting and art.
