The Ethnic Studies Department is bringing a new event to Delta on Thursday, April 11 from 12-2pm in the Tony Fitch Forum. We are excited to feature "Straight Out Scribes", an award-winning poetry duo who has published 7+ books of poetry and performed in hundreds of events over the past 30 years. We welcome students and faculty to an interactive workshop where participants will learn how to write their own poetry, have an opportunity to perform at an Open Mic, and hear powerful poetry/spoken word from this dynamic team!
