My current focus with creating ceramics is the process of slip casting. It allows me to create the same shape repeatedly, that way my attention is on what I place on the piece and not the shape of each piece. This allows me to use the vase as a format for my landscapes. My landscapes are focused on the mundane of man-made objects that one might encounter on a regular basis.
