The piece was created with regard to living in a rural area near a large city. People from the city are traveling for weekends to the rural areas to enjoy the life and activities outdoors that are not available to them in a crowded city. They are purchasing weekend houses. They expound on how things should be done in this rural environment, complain about aspects of living near farms or small airports which have always been there and in general are causing great changes in the rural environment that are making it much more like the city they are escaping. And they do not recognize what they are doing.
