Visions In Clay 2024
Elise Arnold
Elise Arnold often takes a step away from the traditional with her sculptures. The theme of humans and animals as a persona that can be conjured as elemental rituals where spirit is embraced for the qualities that we recognize in ourselves or aspire to. There is something wild in its expression. Elise studied at Goddard College in the era when students studying architecture were building three story tree houses. Her love of painting and sculpture were nurtured there. Elise continued her studies and gained incomparable experience in Paris, London, and Goa India. Her international journeys, both artistic and spiritual shape a subject matter rooted in the world of animal and nature, infused with an ethereal, joyful presence.
