Reinvention and transformation of a physical and spiritual nature motivate me.
An act of connecting to construct a desirable whole from interdependent parts.
Utilizing tension to bridge polar relationships of the internal and external.
The incongruity between the automatic peripheral systems and those of direct consciousness.
The soft underbelly, simple innards and complex mechanisms that propel an organism forward to fulfill a natural history.
I imagine a dreamy world beyond rational systems with a common denominator for variable, irrational and fantastic anomalies. I assure you, there is no beginning, and I am not afraid.
No beginning. No absolute, no linear, successive, nor sequential, no. But a spiral of unquantifiable beginnings, beginning again, again beginning. Divinity, purpose and manipulation of vibrant matter, irrefutable existence. Reality lying above reality, a suspension of distinctions.
And the senses like a bridge connect to the past, present and future. The senses can span time, time travel and tear apart reality and reassemble the pieces into something meaningful.
Fragments translated into planes, a sensory, a drawing, an object, an atmosphere, a funnel for the locomotion of transmutation. I create art to enhance these, the senses and to add sensation to a world brimming with beauty and terror.
