Traces:

• a sign or evidence of some past things: a vestige
• a minute and often barely detectable amount or indication

These pods and flowers look fossilized, bone-like. They are so fragile and thin that moving them puts them in danger of disintegrating into dust. They need to be handled very carefully for their own survival. Their fragility is also what makes them beautiful. The passage of time and the thin edge between decay and beauty are threads in my work.
