After completing her M.A. as an International Peace Scholar in 1968, Rosaline Lee Fung launched a widely varied teaching career. Drawing from her multi-lingual background, she published a series of eight textbooks on writing entitled Patterns for Success, which are used in schools all over the world, including the U.S., Canada, and China. Aside from teaching English and ESL and coordinating special programs for visiting educators from China at Delta College, she lectures extensively in Hong Kong and China, including Peking University. In 2000, Rosaline Lee Fung created Phinnie, the Magic Dolphin. Phinnie was named the Oxford University Press Reading Ambassador based on the reading series entitled Read with Phinnie. In 2002, Phinnie was immortalized in a statue by well-known sculptor Van Lau. The statue is located on Ma Wan beach in Hong Kong. Phinnie, the Magic Dolphin, has already seen great success as the primary storyteller in the Read with Phinnie and Learn with Phinnie reading series. Recognition of Rosaline Lee Fung includes a listing in Who's Who in the West and Who’s Who in America.
