I am 19 years old and I am a self-trained artist. I am working towards a Landscape Architecture major. Art has stuck on me ever since high school. I enjoyed everyone's thoughts on my art, which kept me pushing to make such ambitious projects. I started my studies at SJDC and am working on getting my GE to enter the TAG program for UC Davis. School keeps pushing my calendar back but I try my best to keep up with my annual milestones for painting. In my spare time I would work on friendly commissions and experiment on new materials. In the end, I want art to boost my skills in developing new designs practical and visually attractive in Landscape Architecture.

I played around with almost every kind of traditional art medium such as markers, pencil, pen, and paints. If you take a look at my portfolio or Instagram, I do not stick to any style or medium. Although, I prefer oil painting and surrealism. Mixing up mediums in small commissions has always been fun. Most of my time is spent on creating new techniques and testing out new materials. There is just so much $5 can bring you in art. I believe that each material - cheap or not - has its own unique texture that the other cannot bring. Emotions are one of the biggest factors in an artwork. It does sound cheesy but how ever you are feeling will steer your artwork in so many directions. Whenever I create an artwork, I do them by drafts. After the third draft with the right colors to use and right reference, then I start the final piece. However the oil painting in cubism is a special case. There isn't much planning for that one because it works by rhythm and feeling. The painting is about me in a Pablo Picasso's cubism style. The purpose behind this is the way I see reality to be always changing. This is by far the most time consuming and most loved out of all. The accent, saturated, and solid colors are allocated to create emphasis in certain places. For lines ambitious as those, it was difficult to not make one place stand out more than the rest. I am one of the few who doesn't have an art style because of all of my bucket list of art materials to test out, so settling on one is my biggest goal.

As a career, I love the thought of creating a schematic of your own design and to bring it into fruition. As a bonus, I am creating designs to save the environment.
