Club Description

I AM/ YO SOY is a safe space for ALL undocumented students and ALL immigrants, immigrant allies. I AM/ YO SOY aims to Provide a safe, judge free zone on campus for current AND potential undocumented students at Delta Community College. I AM/ YO SOY wants to help students connect to resources available in San Joaquin community such as:scholarships available for undocumented students DACA, AB60, Prop 47, Trust Act and much more. I AM/ YO SOY wants to assist students with unique challenges that get in the way of achieving academic, personal and professional excellence. Provide access to higher education opportunities to undocumented high school, transfer, and graduate students, and those with mixed-status families. Improve campus (students, faculty and staff) culture of knowledge and sensitivity to the issues faced by undocumented students and students with mixed-status families.
