STOCKTON — The annual fashion show returns this Friday, with a twist: It will be held outdoors, in the San Joaquin Delta College quad, and will be free to the general public.
Typically “A Story of Fashion” has been held indoors, with the show normally selling out. “This is a unique opportunity for those who have missed the show in the past to see a spectacular showcase,” said Leslie Asfour, director of Delta’s Fashion Program.
Student designers and models will be featuring original fashion collections that were pieced together over the past year. The quad in the center of campus will include a runway for models and will be transformed into a “cool and hip venue,” Asfour said.
