The Horton Gallery is honored to present the TNT Traysikel, a diaspora story listening project by Rainin Arts Fellows: Michael Arcega, Paolo Asuncion and Rachel Lastimosa.

The San Francisco based artists will bring the TNT Traysikel, a roaming sculpture signaling the presence of the Fil-Am community, to Stockton for its inaugural activation. The event is sponsored by San Joaquin Delta College, Horton Art Gallery, Stockton Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS), and the Kenneth Rainin Foundation.

Embracing the rich history and living legacies of immigrants and communities in the diaspora in Stockton, TNT Traysikel makes this the first stop of a national tour. 

“Tago Ng Tago” (TNT) does not solely refer to undocumented Filipinx. It also signals the socially constructed and nationalist project of making invisible the lines of empire along which Filipinx travel.
