This Pulitzer on the Road event will feature a dynamic panel of prize-honored journalists, including Caitlin Dickerson, Astrid Galván, and Anna Wolfe, who will discuss the challenges and impact of modern journalism, particularly in reporting on immigration, Latino issues, and holding power to account. The conversation will be moderated by Marjorie Miller from The Pulitzer Prizes.
Caitlin Dickerson is an investigative reporter and staff writer at The Atlantic. She won the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting for her in-depth reporting on family separations at the border.
Astrid Galván is the Texas editor of Axios Local, and previously edited Axios Latino, a twice-weekly newsletter about news and issues affecting Latinos in the U.S. and Latin America. In 2019, she was part of the Associated Press team that was a finalist for National Reporting.
Anna Wolfe has been an investigative reporter at Mississippi Today since 2018. She won the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Local Reporting for her work on the Mississippi welfare fraud scandal that involved Brett Favre.
