There is no better way to experience Commencement than through the eyes of our students, their families, Delta's faculty and staff, and all the other community members who came out to celebrate.
Here, then, is a look back at some of the best of social media sights and sounds at our 84th annual Commencement ceremony.
There were some rough paths that slowed me down many times. However, that never stopped me from achieving my goals. I will continue to fight till the end until all of my dreams are accomplished. I encourage everyone to do the same. Roads always have bumpy paths, but always have the exit to your destination. Grateful for the people who congratulated me thank you! Also, glad I made the first generation in my mom’s family roots obtaining the first college degree. There are many degrees left to get, and I will continue to strive no bumpy road will stop me. #ClassOf2019

Almost forgot to share this one. Delta’s famous koi got some love last night too! When Michelle Mariano was a little girl, her mother would take her to the Delta campus to see the koi. It’s her earliest memory of Delta. Little did she know she would one day be a graduate. That day came at Commencement last night. Michelle decided to mark the occasion by painting the koi on her cap. Love all of the sentimental memories people have of our campus. Congrats to Michelle and all other graduates. Here’s to making more memories! #deltacollege #commencement2019 #deltagrads19 #mustangs #congrats #rememberthekoi
