Professor M. Green has been teaching in higher education since 1997.   His university teaching experiences include U.C. Berkeley as a Graduate Student Instructor for courses such as Urban Education and Current Issues in Education, Santa Clara University (Introduction to African American Studies), University of San Francisco (course on Race & Class in Education), CSU Hayward (course on K-12 Teacher Classroom Management).  His community college experience began within the Peralta Community College District teaching Sociology at Laney College in Oakland, CA., his hometown, from the Spring 1999 semester through the Fall 2005 semester. 

Professor Green has been teaching as an Associate Adjunct Professor of Sociology at San Joaquin Delta College since the Spring 2006 semester. He’s also eligible to teach Counseling/Guidance courses and courses within Administration of Justice.  

Mr. Green joined the workforce at age 12 and has a vast array of work experiences.  Beyond part-time teaching at the college/university level, his primary full-time professional experiences include work in K-12 schools as a 6th grade teacher, case manager and coordinator in middle and high schools, elementary & high school counselor.  Professor Green is a retiree from the Alameda County Probation Department as a juvenile institutional officer following a near 20 year career of service.
