Now closely compare the two graphs. Remembering that red=rabbits, green=foxes, what do you notice about the times of the extrema of one compared to the extrema of the other?

Do you notice the relative time lag between the extrema of the rabbits compared to the extrema of the foxes? Ask yourself, does this time lag make sense in a real world context?

Once you've carefully considered this question, we can move on to discuss another approach to seeing the relationship between the populations.
