As 700 students in their traditional red jackets funneled into Atherton Auditorium, it was hard not to feel optimistic about their future — and ours.
The annual SkillsUSA regional competition at Delta brought young people from across the region to show off abilities in more than 50 different potential careers, abilities that are critical to ensuring the U.S. has a skilled workforce for years to come.
