STOCKTON — Delta College will host its annual College Night program on Tuesday, Aug. 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. High school seniors and their families from across the region are invited.
The event begins with the popular informational session “Discover the Delta College Advantage” in Atherton Auditorium at 5:30 p.m. Students can learn more about how Delta can propel them directly to a successful career or to a four-year university, saving thousands of dollars in the process. This session will also highlight the resources available through Delta's financial aid program.
“High school seniors and their families are encouraged to attend College Night as they plan for future academic success,” said Jazmin Amen, the director of Delta's Career Transfer Center. “College Night is an evening where students can explore their interests, discover exciting career opportunities and learn about the advantages of making Delta a college of choice.”
In addition to the informational session, College Night provides the opportunity for high school students to meet with over 75 four-year university representatives from CSU, UC, out-of-state and private/independent colleges and universities. This portion of the event will be held in the Marcopulos Gym. A variety of exciting Delta College programs and services will be on display. Students will learn about the diverse range of resources and services Delta College has to offer in support of their academic and career goals.
Free parking is available in all lots, with signs directing guests to Atherton Auditorium. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, with doors opening at 5 p.m. For the complete workshop schedule, contact the Transfer Center at (209) 954-5151 ext. 6219 or visit bit.ly/deltacollegenight.
