Art, Associate in Arts
The Art, Associate in Arts degree in Art will provide the student with a basic foundation in art principles and practices. Selected courses will include study in art history and studio practice in the creation of both two and three-dimensional works of art. The Art degree is designed for transfer to a four-year university or college, and for students who are interested in furthering skills in the visual arts.

L.H. Horton Art Gallery
The LH Horton Art Gallery is a fine arts exhibition program within the Visual Arts Department of San Joaquin Delta College, and a venue of Delta Center for the Arts. Gallery admission is free and open to the public. The Gallery presents contemporary art exhibitions and inter-related lectures and workshops to:
- Support Student Learning Outcomes in the visual arts curriculum.
- Build knowledge in the aesthetic, technical, cultural and historical context of the visual arts.
