Why Choose Our Photography Program?
The Photography AA emphasizes the development of creative expression, visual awareness, and technical skills. Students who major in Photography at SJDC are committed to the study and production of images, are curious about the world, and have a desire to push personal and social boundaries. The program maintains a commitment to traditional techniques and approaches, but our program is also invested in the area of digital photography. We prepare students for the skills that are required to enter the photography field or to prepare for transfer to four-year institutions.
