Latest Updates

April 16, 2024 - The EATF met and discussed convocation. FIERCE online government repository will be ready to move forward for fall. The EATF discussed the format for reporting out at Convocation. Each team to share what has been done and what needs to be done in order to support student success. Two days for reporting at convocation gives more time for the groups to share.  EATF was encouraged to speak with their teams to find out if they want to present (video, panel, other). There will also be a speaker who will do a keynote and will also do individualized break-out sessions. Emilie Mitchell will be brought back as well. The EATF retreat will be used to talk about the project in more detail and future direction. Alex is writing up a report from staff/former students and their experiences at the college. His will be focusing on the “big picture.” Themes/chapters can then be creating to share more specific experiences. Volunteers who would like to tell their story can come and talk to Dr. Aguilera Lawrenson. Additionally for convocation, it has been proposed to hold a “Delta’s Got Talent.’ It will be advertised so people can submit their ideas/talents. Project updates were also presented. The EATF retreat is scheduled for May 21-22, 2024.
