Joh Keefe’s work is concerned with the history of ceramics as an indigenous technology and global commodity. Joh’s works are based on historical ceramics that play with concepts of luxury and desire. She has an MFA in studio art from USF with a focus in ceramics and photography. She is a member of Peninsula Potters Co-Operative Studio in Pacific Grove, CA where she makes her work. Johanna is the Studio Manager and Instructor at Hilltop Park Ceramic Studio in Monterey, CA, and a Professor of Ceramics at Hartnell College.
