Come Join us for a night of fun, food, and entertainment!
The Culinary Arts Department at San Joaquin Delta College is happy to announce their Annual Winter Feast –Italian Scholarship Dinner!
At the Winter Feast, student teams develop a menu within a theme and create a station where they serve their food. This buffet-style dinner is lively, abundant and flavorful. It provides an opportunity for you to interact with the students and the students to share what they have learned during the semester. Local wine and beer will be available at the no-host bar.
Tickets can be purchased online through Eventbrite.
How Your Contribution Will Help Our Students
Delta College’s Culinary Arts Foundation has established a partnership with the Marco Polo Institute. This past summer we were able to send 3 culinary arts students to study abroad with the Marco Polo Institute for Mediterranean Culture and Tourism. This was a 17 day trip to Italy which included courses at 4 different culinary schools from Anzio to Asti. This is an all expenses paid program of a lifetime for our students. The cost for each student is $5100. We hope to grow the number of students we are able to award this scholarship to through fundraising activities at the college and donations from the community. The proceeds from this year’s Winter Feast will add to these efforts.
Unable to attend and would like to help send a student to Italy? We will gladly accept donations to the Culinary Arts Foundation (a non-profit organization). All funds raised are used to provide the Marco Polo Institute study abroad Italian scholarships for students.
