New Student Group Advising (NSGA) / Orientation
During this mandatory orientation session you will have the opportunity to:Orientation Students

  • Learn about campus resources
  • Develop an abbreviated educational plan
    with a counselor
  • Review assessment placement
  • Receive registration placement

New Students Must Attend Orientation to Receive Priority Registration

Your adjustment during the early days of your college experience can have a major impact on the remainder of your college journey. In general, students who attend college orientation programs are better prepared academically to start and succeed in college.

These items are required to receive priority registration.

  1. Assessment Test
  2. New Student Group Advising (NSGA) Orientation
  3. Counseling

Orientation Options

  1. In Person NSGA/Orientation - 2 to 3 hour session on campus which includes the counseling appointment.

 

In-Person NSGA/Orientation with Counseling Opens New Window

  1. Online NSGA/Orientation - The online option is 30 to 45 minutes. The counseling appointment must be made separately.

 

Online NSGA/Orientation + Separate In-Person Counseling

  1. Athlete Orientation/NSGA - Designed for athletes only.
