On the top of the page choose AA or AS degree Applications and Checklists, click the appropriate Academic Year and the degree information you are seeking. For a AA/AS specific to a certain area, click on the Area of Concentration Link and browse for your area of interest. Those will be the classes you need to take IN ADDITION TO the general AA/AS requirements.

Our program prepares students for employment in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning / Refrigeration fields through both lectures and lab work. Students work on a wide variety of equipment encompassing much of the trade.

 

Heating and Air Conditioning: Refrigeration, Associate in Science

The student will demonstrate the skills, knowledge and training to service and repair heating and air conditioning equipment.  The demonstrates his / her ability to mechanically and electrically troubleshoot problems typically encountered in the industry and to pass the EPA Refrigerent Recovery Examination for their certification.

 Refrigeration, Certificate of Achievement

 The student will demonstrate skills, knowledge and training for  employment in the refrigeration industry.  The will have the ability to work in maintenance departments, cold storage facilities, school districts, and for private contractors.  The will have sufficient hands on experience to recover, evacuate and charge simple refrigeration systems and pass an EPA test to work in the refrigeration industry.
