Bio: 

After eighteen years of teaching, Dr. Sarah Antinora found her home in the English Department of San Joaquin Delta College in Fall 2014. She enjoys teaching first-year composition, Shakespeare studies, British literature, world literature, children’s literature, literary analysis, and critical thinking, and aims for her students to critically read the world in which they live. She earned her Ph.D. in English at University of California, Riverside, with her dissertation “Permission to Laugh Ourselves into Stitches: Early Modern Drama and the Implications of Laughter” focused on rhetoric, humor studies, and early modern theater. She has earned three Masters of Arts—in Education, English Composition, and English Literature—and has presented at the MLA, the CCCC, and the SAA.
