Bio: 

A native of North Dakota, Patrick Wall holds the following degrees: an Associate degree from West Los Angeles College; a Bachelor of Science with a major in Mathematical Statistics and a minor in Spanish from UC Davis; a Master of Arts in English with a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) emphasis from Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo; and a Doctorate in Philosophy in English with a Prose Fiction emphasis from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He also completed post-doctoral studies in Reading Education. His teaching interests are in developmental and contextualized education. He has taught English in the People's Republic of China, English and basic skills at California community colleges, and English and philosophy in the CSU system.
