Nicole Brown is a resident of Stockton, and she is blessed to be a member of San Joaquin Delta College community. She attended Glendale Community College as a transfer; then, she earned a B.A. in English Literature and a M.A. in Rhetoric / Teaching Writing from CSU Stanislaus, where she taught composition as a Graduate Teaching Associate. After receiving her M.A., she became the Writing Specialist for Student Support Services at CSU Stanislaus. She taught literature and composition courses as an adjunct at Los Medanos College, Merced Community College, Ohlone College, and San Joaquin Delta College. Her academic interests are developing writers, composition, and the spoken word.
