Bio:

James Forte is one of the new Resource Specialist in the Arts, Humanities and Multimedia (& Library) TrAC.  James was born and raised in San Francisco, CA, and has lived periodically in Half Moon Bay, CA.  He is the youngest child of six, and have a beautiful daughter and grandson that lives in Elk Grove, CA.  He enjoys collecting 1:18 scale die-cast model cars (over 300 to date) architectural drafting and designing, basketball and traveling.  James has a Certificate in Real Estate, an AA degree from San Joaquin Delta College, a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Grand Canyon University, and is starting his Master’s degree in Education in the spring of 2021.

From life experiences, James follows a simple creed.  Never tell yourself “No” even when the world tells you that a million times! Perseverance and Endurance are part of the ingredients to my life’s recipe, and cherish the blessings that have been bestowed upon you, life, family, shelter and a good meal!  He has learned what it means to be a soldier of endurance! He attributes much of his admiration for education and higher learning to his grandfather, who at 90 years of age, was attending college and receiving A’s in German, Japanese and Spanish!

He is proud to be here at Delta College and has learned to give of himself, be himself and to share himself with others in need. Becoming a Resource Specialist employs the acronym of my name JAMES:

J-just A-ask ME-me S-something! James is ready to help, assist and support All those who are wanting to have success in their lives.
