The Academic Senate Membership consists of:

1st Vice Presidnet

2nd Vice President

Secretary

Vice President for Adjunct

Senators:

A minimum of one member from each Division: Applied Science and Technology; Business; Communication Skills; Counseling, Guidance, EOPS & Disabled Student Services; Family, Consumer, and Health Sciences; Fine Arts; Library Services; Physical Education, Recreation & Athletics; Science & Mathematics; and Social Sciences.

A Division shall be entitled to a second Senate seat when the number of full time faculty members reaches sixteen at the beginning of the Fall semester. A third Senate seat shall be allocated when the number of full-time faculty members in a Division reaches thirty-one at the beginning of the Fall semester. A fourth Senate seat shall be allocated when the number of full-time faculty members in a Division reaches forty-six at the beginning of the Fall semester. A fifth Senate seat shall be allocated when the number of full-time faculty members in a division reaches sixty-one at the beginning of the Fall semester.

0- 15 Full time faculty one Senate Seat

16-30 Full time faculty two Senate Seats

31-45 Full time faculty three Senate Seats

46-60 Full time faculty four Senate Seats

61-75 Full time faculty five Senate Seats

Five representatives of the adjunct faculty, three from General Education and two from Technical/Vocational Education.

 

Senate members shall serve terms of two years, with one- half of the members being replaced each year. Senators may be re-elected.
