Mr. Sergio Calderon Cisco / Electronics /Electrical Technology Mr. Calderon joined our division in August of 2009 bringing 28 years experience in/as Electronics Technician, Surveillance design and layout, Cisco Regional Instructor for San Joaquin Delta College, Cisco Security Instructor. He is A+ Certified and knowledgable in General Construction. Mr. Calderon holds honors as an IEEE member, Employee of the year 2007 Circuit City, Master Technician 2006, 2008 . |

Business Dean Danielson has taught a variety of business classes since joining Delta College in1990. These include Introduction to Business, Supervision and Human Relations, Economics of Business, Personal Finance, and Introduction to Business. Prior to joining Delta College, Dean worked in manufacturing management for Procter and Gamble. He was an infantry officer in the Army for 6 years after graduating from the U.S. Military Academy in 1971. He received his MBA at the University of Utah. Dean is married, lives in Modesto, and has 2 grown children. He enjoys reading and outdoor activities such as skiing and kayaking. |

Mr. Richard Dettloff Fluid Power Technology Mr. Richard Dettloff teaches students all they would ever want to know about Fluid Power. He is well educated in this discipline and dedicated to sharing his knowledge with students. Mr. Dettloff is also part of the Caterpillar ThinkBig Program. |

Electron Microscopy Jonathan Krupp joined the Delta faculty as a full time instructor in 2008. Prior to that he was the coordinator of the Microscopy & Imaging Laboratory at UC Santa Cruz for 22 years. He received a BA in Botany and an MA in Biology from Humboldt State University and a BS in Biological Sciences and PhD in Botany from UC Davis. In addition he has done post-doctoral work at UC Davis and the Bodega Marine Lab and served as a consultant on many projects. |

Mr. Alberto Luna
Mr. Luna is a recent addition to our full time faculty at Delta College. He is a graduate from the Delta College Automotive Technology Program. Mr. Luna has many years of experience in the field while working for a G. M. dealership and the City of Stockton fleet maintenance department. He returns to Delta to share his wealth of knowledge in the automotive technology field with his students. |

Mr. Larry Mariani Auto Body Technology Mr. Mariani is a recent addition to our Auto Body Technology Program as a full time instructor. Prior to joining our ranks he has operated a highly successful auto body repair facility in Stockton. He looks forward to sharing his experience and knowledge with his students. |
| Mr. Scot Martin Heating and Air Conditioning Technology Mr. Scot Martin graduated from Delta College's HVAC program and continued his education at CSU Fresno in Industrial Technology. He has earned many certifications and with his knowledge and skills began his own business. He has now returned to Delta as a full time instructor, offering his expertise to the students in the same program in which he graduated. |

He is involved in many Automotive endeavors such as the GMASEP program, SMOG certifications, and the Automotive Auxiliary Foundation. Mr. Ken Pekarek Heavy Equipment / Diesel Technology Mr. Ken Pekarek, known to his students as "Mr. P", can often times be found in, under, or near a diesel engine as he teaches students in the Diesel Technology Program. Mr. P is also active in the yearly VICA and the ASE Mini Baja competitions all over the state and he is part of the Caterpillar ThinkBig Program. |
| Mr. Alex Taddei Welding Technology Mr. Taddei comes to Delta College with 30 + years experience as a Welding Supervisor, Maintenance Technician, and as our adjunct faculty instructor since 2001. Alex is a graduate of Delta College with an A. A. degree in Industrial Technology and a certificate in Fluid Power. He holds a certificate in Communication and Supervision from UOP. Alex has earned two certifications from the American Welding Society as a Welding Inspector (1987 - present) and a Welding Educator (1992 - present). |

Mr. David Thomas David N. Thomas Sr. has joined the ranks of San Joaquin Delta College as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Solar Technology in the Fall of 2012. He was an Adjunct and Assistant Professor at American River College since 2003 teaching in fields of Energy, Electrical, Electronics, and Green Technologies. He has an extensive knowledge and experience in the electrical industry as a current State of California Certified General Electrician and Fire Alarm Technician, licensed Electrical Contractor, and past IBEW/NECA Electrician Certification Coordinator and as an Electrician Apprenticeship Instructor. Mr. Thomas has completed an A.A. from Butte College, B.A. from Sacramento State University, and currently will complete his M.A. this Fall from Sacramento State University. Furthermore, he has completed the IBEW/NECA Inside Wireman Apprenticeship program and Certification as Electrical Master Instructor from the University of Tennessee. He is a current member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and International Association of Electrical Inspectors. |
