The POST Academy will be testing in April 2010, for the 2011 San Joaquin Delta College Basic Peace Officer Academy "Extended Format" (January to September) and the Fall 2009 Peace Officer Academy Orientation (November to December).

How do I Sign-up For the Test:

1. Meet the minimum selection standards for peace officers in California (click here).

2. Sign-up for the examination by printing the attached examination notice and submit the completed form to the Public Safety Office either by U.S. mail or in person by Wednesday, September 9, 2009.

3. Link to the Applicant Preparation Guide for the POST Entry Level Law Enforcement Test Battery.

4. What If I Have a Passing T-Score From Another Testing Agency for the POST Entry-Level Law Enforcement Test Battery Examination?

• Your test score MUST BE a Total T-Score of 42.0 or higher.
• The test date MUST BE LESS than 1 year old.
• You MUST TAKE AND PASS the REPORT WRITING portion of the Delta College examination.
• Submit a copy of your T-Score result letter on the TESTING AGENCIES LETTERHEAD to the Public Safety Office along with your testing notice form.

**You will NOT RECEIVE a reminder or confirmation of receipt for your examination sign-up form from the Public Safety Office. It will be YOUR responsibility to attend the examination and arrive at LEAST 15 MINUTES early for check-in and bring a Valid Photo ID**
