Action Crisis Team for Students (ACTS)

The San Joaquin Delta College Action Crisis Team for Students (ACTS) is an interdepartmental group representing key campus resources and support services for students experiencing a variety of personal challenges. The mission of ACTS is to facilitate and coordinate the referral process for "at risk" students so that they can be directed to proper sources of assistance. By proactive intervention, the goal of ACTS is to be available as a resource to prevent a major crisis from occurring, and to promote emotional and behavioral wellness in a student of concern so that the student can function optimally and have success in the classroom and beyond. When we are able to help an individual in crisis, the entire Delta College campus community is a safer, more productive place to work and learn.
