What is On the ESL Assessment
The ESL Assessment consists of two parts:
- Part 1: The first part is a multiple-choice exam with questions in: listening comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.
- Part 2: The second part is a written essay/composition. After taking the ESL Assessment, you will be placed into a level in the ESL program and you will have the option to take morning or evening classes. Your classes will be specifically designed for students at your skill level.
This is the only assessment test students will need to take to register for ESL classes at Delta College. International Students will not need to take the TOEFL exam.
